From 6 January 2020 to 30 June 2020 - £13,464 - £14,287 p.a. for 33 ½ hours per week during term-time (£17,364 - £18,426 p.a. pro-rata).

From February 2020 - £5,426 - £5,758 p.a. for 13 ½ hours per week (to be worked on a Monday and Tuesday) during term time (£17,364 – £18,426 p.a. pro-rata).
Working in a supportive role in a caring environment as a Teaching Assistant you will support the educational, personal and social development of students with varied and sometimes multiple learning barriers and needs in the classroom, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the achievements of our young people (11–16 years) who need additional support and understanding.
You will be part of a large and supportive team of TAs in the Learning, Intervention and Nurture Centre (The LINC) which has a great reputation for supporting students with special educational needs, disabilities, anxiety, learning barriers and multiple and complex needs. Your support as a TA enables students to access a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum and to be fully included in all aspects of school life and will support the school’s vision of ‘no child left behind.’
We are ideally looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated applicants with some experience of working with young people (voluntary or paid), who are passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding and varied role where you will need a positive and flexible approach to work.
