HOURS OF WORK: Full Time 35 hours per week, Term time only (36.4 weeks, plus an additional week of inset, plus 5.6 weeks paid holiday.) Total of 43 weeks
We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Teaching Assistant in our Senior School.
Our ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement (November 2018) was only the start of the story. The challenge is to sustain and improve this judgement through every aspect of Gildredge House as it grows to full capacity in September 2019.

As a Teaching Assistant at Gildredge House you will need the flexibility and skills to work within one of our primary or senior school classes, providing appropriate support to the children and staff team in delivering the curriculum. You will also make a full and dynamic contribution to the Lower School and its extra-curricular activities.

Starting Salary: £14,093.00 pa pro rata (£17,089 FTE) which equates to Grade 3 point 7 on the Support Staff Pay Scale for 2019-2020. You would be required to work 43 weeks per year (includes 36.4 weeks of term-time plus 1 week of INSET plus 5.6 weeks’ paid holiday), and 35 hours per week.
