Teaching Assistant (TA2)

We are seeking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our effective Learning Support department and support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Physical Disabilities.

Reporting to the Special Educational Needs Coordinator the TA will use a range of strategies to support the progress of pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to relate well to both children and adults, be able to work constructively as part of a team and have a goal driven approach to solving problems. Knowledge and experience of work relating to Science or Technology is desirable.

32.5 hours per week, typically 8.30am – 3.40pm, Monday – Friday term time plus 5 staff learning days; 39 weeks per annum.

Salary at Band F (Points 6-11) is within the range £19,698 to £21,748, starting point depending on experience and qualifications. The actual salary based on the hours and weeks worked will be within the range £14,923 to £16,476 subject to any continuous service.
