Teaching Assistant to support the Boarding community with commitment to the PE Department to start January 2022

Box Hill School is a co-educational community of 425 girls and boys aged 11 to 18, whose educational ideals and practice are designed to get the best out of each student. The school follows the philosophy of Kurt Hahn, founder of the Round Square movement. While placing academic work at the heart of a school, Hahn stressed the importance of an all-round education as a preparation for life.  

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to be part of the Boarding community with the additional responsibility of assisting with teaching cover and getting involved with all aspects of school life. Each Teaching Assistant’s timetable will consist of supporting the boarding community as well as assisting different departments across the school with a sizeable commitment to the PE Department. We aim to appoint colleagues who will involve themselves whole-heartedly within our community.

This post could be offered as a residential position and will be for a fixed term period from January to August 2022.
