Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support and Enrichment department, working with Key Stage 3 students at the secondary education stage.

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant at Burlington House School, you will play an important role in supporting teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with staff to provide additional learning support for pupils within Key Stage 3, assisting with classroom activities, individual or small group interventions, and contributing positively to the overall learning environment.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in working with young people aged 11-14 years
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while being proactive when appropriate
- Basic organisational skills including time management
- Willingness to learn new skills related to teaching support
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards diverse student needs
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred but not essential
