What we’re looking for

Do you want to be part of something brand new that shapes the education of young people in the Wood Wharf area in Canary Wharf?

We are looking for two outstanding teaching assistants to support the first ever Reception class at Mulberry Wood Wharf Primary. Your will share our vision to create an outstanding, fully inclusive primary school that ensures the needs of all children are met and which makes a vibrant and meaningful contribution to residents in the surrounding area.

You will be supporting pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage in the first year. You will be working with individual children and groups, under the direction of the class teacher, introducing tasks, and monitoring children’s work and using a range of strategies to support their learning.

In the first year there will be up to 30 pupils in Reception, the school will build and grow each year from this until it reaches full capacity of 420 in all year groups. 

This role would be suitable for someone who is interested in teaching in the future. The Trust have established career pathways into teaching and excellent development opportunities for staff.
