Teaching Assistant

45.6 weeks contract (term time only) 36 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant staff to work under the guidance of teaching staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching times. Candidates who are experienced in working with 1:1 and class based are encouraged to apply.

GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above) is a minimum requirement.  Previous experience is desirable but not necessary; however, any training in SEN would be preferable. A desire to work with young people is essential.  Regular training and professional development is available for the successful candidate and we pride ourselves on the training that we can offer.
