Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Fixed Term – one year, Term Time only, 36 hours per week

Start Date :        As soon as possible

Salary :                Scale 5 (actual salary £21,887)

We are seeking to appoint a fun loving, creative and inspirational Teaching Assistant to work throughout the school. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of supporting children in any of the key stages within the primary phase. The role is flexible and may involve supporting a child with an Education Health and Care Plan on a one to one basis or working within classes supporting children and / or delivering interventions to small groups. 

Applicants should have:

·        Experience of working with children (ideally having supported children on the Autistic Spectrum or Special Educational Needs)

·        An understanding of how children develop and learn

·        NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
