Teaching Assistant

Netheravon All Saints Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and vibrant school starting as soon as possible. The role will primarily be supporting a child in our Early Years class.

Please note: this is a fixed term position until July 2024

We are immensely proud of our school and the facilities we can offer. As a teaching assistant, you will work collaboratively as part of a team, to serve the community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.

Working hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This is a term time only position (39 weeks per year)

• Are reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Are able to work effectively within our hardworking, talented and friendly team on whole school issues
• Enjoy working with children and can develop good working relationships with them
• Understand and are sympathetic to the needs of young children
• Have experience of supporting children’s learning
• Have experience of or are willing to learn about the Early Years Curriculum
• Have a current First Aid or be prepared to undertake training
• Have a relevant Level 3 qualification (desirable)
• Are willing to undertake training to support children with medical needs
