TEACHING ASSISTANT

Contract:       36 hours per week/39 weeks

Grade:           Band D (£21,853 – £22,201)

Ridgeway is a popular and oversubscribed school. The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and conscientious teaching assistant to work with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Teaching assistants work flexibly across the school to respond to students' needs, supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Teaching assistants play a vital role in supporting students to access all elements of school life, and we are seeking individuals who have the flexibility and resilience to ensure our students reach their potential. This role may involve periods of time in isolation.
