We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed and talented team of staff at Wombourne High School. The schools key values include hard work, positivity and kindness, and we are looking for staff who can model these values.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team based within the Inclusion Department and must have the knowledge and skills to help students overcome barriers to their learning and fulfil their potential. They will work with students who exhibit the full range of Special Educational Needs and will work in a range of subject areas.
Recognised qualifications and experience of working with SEN pupils are desirable. However, candidates without formal qualifications but some experience of working with young people in either a formal or informal setting are welcome to apply as training will be provided if required.
As a founder member of the Invictus Education Multi-Academy Trust, Wombourne High School is part of a carefully planned collaboration between six highly successful schools. Within the Trust each school retains its own separate identity, but all members are totally committed to working together to ensure that each of our students receive the best possible education.
