Teaching Assistant (Year 7)

Durlston is expanding over the next three years to incorporate GCSE’s into our curriculum and we are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support both an individual child and also the wider Year 7 group from September 2023. This is a full-time role and we are looking for candidates who can strike the right balance of supporting the pupil, either on a one-to-one basis, small groups or alongside the class teacher along with having a strong emphasis on pastoral care to support the wider class. Although some aspects of this role will be to help children with identified needs, we envisage this role to be so much more, supporting all children and abilities to make the most of their education at Durlston.
