We require Teaching Assistants to join our Horizon Education Alternative Learning team.

Horizon Education Alternative Learning offers a tailored one-to-one approach in delivering short-term education for young people who may struggle to maintain attendance and learning within a school environment. Occasionally, there is an opportunity for our teaching staff to work with students throughout the school holidays.

What we're looking for:

• Experienced Teaching Assistants who can work with children with SEN and/or children who have struggled in a normal school environment

• Passionate, caring individuals to support our students and who are able to deliver interventions and encourage learning

• For the role you'd need to have access to a vehicle as our students are usually taught either at their own home or in a community based setting

What you'll be doing:

• The Teaching Assistant will deliver 1 to 1 lessons that are produced in conjunction with our HEAL teachers and Head Teacher.

• You'll be working 1 to 1 with children in a variety of non-school settings

• Supporting children with learning and education based on their individual needs

• Making a difference to several children's lives!
