Bede's is an independent, co-educational School located on two stunning sites, one by the sea in Eastbourne and one in the heart of the Sussex countryside.
Bede's offer education from the age of 3 months through to 18 years of age and is renowned for the level of pastoral care that it provides to the pupils.
We are looking to appoint one full-time and one part-time Teaching Assistant to be based at the Prep School in Eastbourne.
Supporting teachers in any designated year group, you will ensure that every child is able to gain the most from their education by supporting them with their learning as required.
We are looking for creative candidates who will make a big impact in the life and learning environment of our pupils, so you will need to have a keen interest in working with children and in supporting and developing their learning.
As a member of the Teaching Assistant team, you should have good interpersonal skills, be flexible and focused on the needs and wellbeing of the child. You will be a team player with a ‘can do’ approach to work and a good sense of humour.
Hours of Work:
Full time: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
Part-time: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Tuesday / 8:00am – 12:20pm, Wednesday, term time only
