Teaching Care Assistant (Temporary)

Simpson’s Lane Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Care Assistant to join our academy in April 2023, on a part-time, temporary basis until Easter 2024. 

As a Teaching / Care Assistant, you will provide one to one personal support for pupils with additional needs. You will provide special educational and/or medical support to ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning. You will need to maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil.

The academy is located on the Warwick Estate in Knottingley. The academy is a slightly larger than averaged sized academy, catering for pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage, through Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. There are currently 350 pupils on roll, including 40 part time Nursery pupils.
