Hatfield Academy is a larger than average primary school based in the North East of Sheffield with easy access to the M1. On the 1st May 2016, Hatfield Academy became one of the first schools to join Reach4 – a new multi-academy trust and a sister trust to REAch2, the largest and most successful primary academy trust in the country. Reach4 values the all-round development of the individual, through arts, sports, leadership opportunities, enrichment and community and is committed to “educate, not just school”.

We recognise the importance of subject specific knowledge for our KS2 pupils and understand the value of meaningful cross curricular links, where connections can be made between subjects. We are looking to appoint an outstanding qualified KS2 Teacher who is interested in teaching Year 5 pupils and is able to promote the schools' key values.

The successful applicant will have:

  • At least three years’ experience as a classroom teacher in a school.
  • Experience of leadership roles within a team including designing and developing resources to support learning.
  • Experience of working with other teachers and support professionals to extend their understanding of educational issues.
  • Experience of robust self-evaluation and development planning linked to this.
  • Experience of coaching other staff so that their classroom practice develops.
  • Experience of preparing and leading training sessions.
