Job overview
We are looking for intelligent, dynamic and energetic colleagues to join us as Teaching Fellows. Successful candidates will have an academic background, ideally a good degree or excellent GCSE and A level results. We have high expectations for all our students and for this reason we require our Teaching Fellows to have the kind of strong academic background and experiences that would support them to reach their full potential.
You will either be a recent graduates or someone who has relevant life experience and will share our view that strict discipline, a rigorous curriculum, and a strong school ethos are the keys to our students’ future success. You will need to be resilient, enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour.
Teaching Fellows will support and lead interventions for our weakest students, work closely with teaching staff to create curriculum resources and would be involved pastorally, acting as a form tutor. You may even get to teach! This would not happen immediately, but if you are someone thinking about becoming a teacher this is a great opportunity. After a successful year as a Teaching Fellow, the Academy will support any suitable candidate into their teacher training. As a growing organisation, there are many opportunities to take a leading role and implement new initiatives.
We are looking for exceptional people to take on a role that is integral to our support of our students to become the best they can be.
