We are looking for a Teaching Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join Hunts Grove Primary School in Hardwicke, Gloucester and become an integral member of the Teaching Partner team.

Our school classes comprise around 300 pupils across 11 classes and this role is to work alongside the Class Teachers to further support the learning of children across the school.

Hunts Grove Primary Academy Primary is a growing primary school situated in a new development on the edge of Gloucester. We will eventually grow to be a two-form entry primary school and we are housed in a new school building in the heart of Hunts Grove.

Main responsibilities:

  •  To provide general support to the class teacher in the management and organisation of the pupils and the classroom
  • To assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment
  • To promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop
  • To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school


You will need:

  •  To be an excellent practitioner
  • To have high expectations of all children
  • To have excellent behaviour management skills
  • To have a strong commitment to raising standards whilst also being able to make learning fun
  • To be able to work well as part of a team
  • To have an understanding of the needs of all children and to be supportive of the Thrive approach in supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
