Job overview

We are looking for a highly organised and diligent induvial to join us in our Teaching School Hub as a Coordinator.  If you have experience in providing high quality administrative support and thrive working in a busy environment, we want to hear from you. 

Working within a small team, you will work closely with the Director of our Teaching School Hub to support and coordinate projects, provide efficient administrative management and to act as a first point of contact for the Teaching School Hub business. 

We are open to both full-time and part-time working which can be discussed term time contract (39 weeks per year) and fixed term until 31st August 2024. 

The DRET Teaching School Hub is committed to collaborating with excellent providers in our region to ensure that the quality of teacher and leader development is of the highest quality and provides excellent value for money for school leaders, enabling them to drive sustainable and meaningful improvement in their schools.

  • Experience in providing high quality administrative support.
  • Experience in project management and events.
  • Someone who thrives working within a busy environment and managing conflicting deadlines. 
  • Excellent IT skills including Work and Excel 
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written. 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.

About Havelock Academy

Located in the town of Grimsby, Lincolnshire, Havelock Academy is a co-educational secondary school. Havelock has around 1000 pupils aged 11-18, making it slightly larger than the average secondary school. The school has an economically diverse catchment area, a fact reflected in its student intake. Originally known as Havelock school, it was established in the 1960s, adopting its current name in 2007 upon its conversion to an academy. The school is part of the David Ross Education Trust, a multi-academy trust responsible for a large number of schools across the Midlands and the north of England.
