Joining us as Team Leader, you will plan, organise and teach on the programmes in Creative Media and Art & Design and provide effective co-ordination and leadership of delivery teams. Embedding the development of skills (English and Maths) in teaching practice at all levels, you must ensure the effective use of resources and contribute to the future direction and planning of the programmes.

So if you are educated to Degree level (or hold an equivalent qualification) and have experience of teaching Level 1 to Level 3/4 Creative Media Programs, including BTEC and UAL syllabus, then we want to hear from you.

Able to work successfully as part of a team, you will have industrial experience in Adobe programmes to include 3D and 2D animation, digital artwork/illustration, web design and graphic design, and have knowledge of current curriculum changes and the implications of learning strategies. With an awareness of the changing agenda for further education and the implications this has for delivery and promotion of learning, you will have experience of a range of teaching strategies that meet individual learning needs and be able to provide effective learner support through teaching and tutorial strategies.

This position is based at Carshalton College and Merton College.

Carshalton College is a co-educational further education college based in Sutton. It is a non-denominational school.

The college has been an education provider for over 60 years. It is a major provider of full-time, part-time, apprenticeships, access, undergraduate and supported learning courses.
