As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the staff and curriculum standards within the General Engineering section of the School. You will focus on the operational management of the qualifications with a clear target on improving success rate through developing teaching and learning strategies.
You will teach theoretical and practical sessions relating to Level 2-5 General, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering courses, predominantly in; Electrical and Electronic Principles, Electrical Technology, Digital and Analogue Circuits and Engineering Science. You will conduct the assessment and monitoring of candidates on such courses and complete all administrative work connected with the assessments, including providing prompt and constructive feedback to candidates soon after assessment.

We’re looking for a hardworking and flexible individual who has a thorough understanding of quality assurance and improvement processes and how these can be used to enhance the student experience.
With excellent teaching skills and experience of successfully monitoring and supporting ‘at-risk’ learners to achieve or exceed their potential, you will have a strong vision for the improvement and development of the curriculum area and have the ability to manage, support and develop staff.
