Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic leader for this key role within the school. You must be able to teach Business Studies or Health & Social Care, as well as being able to offer a second subject. You must be passionate about your subject area and committed to the highest level of achievement for all students. You will be required to teach across the age and ability range.
Robert Blake is a thriving and rapidly growing comprehensive school of around 800 students. The school is an exciting place to work and was identified as a ‘good’ school (Ofsted, December 2015). Robert Blake School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school in Bridgwater, Somerset. There are currently 975 students aged 11-16 on the school roll.
Robert Blake School is named for a distinguished 17th-century military commander who was born in Bridgwater. The town is located to the west of the Quantocks and has a population of 41,000.
The school is housed in a wonderful building completed in 2012, and boasts fantastic facilities. The school environment provides every opportunity for students to learn and achieve.
