Do you want to be part of an exciting opportunity within our People (Children’s) Division?

Working at the forefront of our vibrant town, you’ll be vital to the delivery of the council’s statutory SEND duties and responsibilities. You will support the Operational Team Manager - SEND in delivering the inclusion agenda to ensure that vulnerable young people have the support they need to overcome barriers and be hugely successful in their lives. You will have the opportunity to work with schools, parents, Public Health and other various external agencies.

This post will require a person with a high degree of flexibility and creativity and a positive forward-thinking attitude. It will require someone with a passion for changing children’s lives.

We have excellent training development programmes for staff and opportunities to build a rewarding career. You will be well supported.

A relevant professional qualification is essential to work in a multi-disciplinary team. If you have experience of working innovatively, in a fast-paced environment with collaborative skills and a working knowledge of Inclusion and SEND, then we would welcome an application from you.

For an informal discussion about the post please contact Johnny Kyriacou, Associate Director – Education & Inclusion on 07809 230 844.
