The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District.

We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the trust which includes The West Bridgford School, South Wolds Academy and Sixth Form, and The Kimberley School.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and innovative teacher of English for Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the opportunity for Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate); someone who has the drive and determination to make a significant, positive impact on our students.

We wish to appoint a Teacher with:

  • Experience and a passion for English;
  • Outstanding classroom practice;
  • The ability and commitment to enable all students to achieve their full potential.

Due to the support available this post would be suitable for NQT’s, or a person who wishes to return to teaching.

About The Ripley Academy

‘The Ripley Academy is located in Ripley, Derbyshire. The School was a founding member of the East Midlands Education Trust when it was formed in September 2014 and the Trust now has fourteen partner schools.
