Technician and Receptionist: Hairdressing and Applied Therapies

To provide technical and reception support across the curriculum area of the school of Hair and Applied Therapies.   

Rate of pay: Scale 2, Points 14 – 16, £18,328 - £19,258 per annum.  (Equivalent to £15,415 - £16,197 per annum)

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Contract: Permanent, full time, part year, 37.8 weeks per annum.  

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Afan College).  

Qualifications: Candidates should hold a level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline, level 2 qualifications in both English and Maths (GSCE or equivalent) and be IT literate to level 2.  Candidates should also have relevant experience.  The ability to maintain tools and equipment is essential.
