Westborough High School l is an 11-16 comprehensive school with a passionate commitment to making a difference to children’s lives and ensuring that all pupils have the highest possible learning experience.
We now seek to build on our already strong foundations in order to continue our upward trend of improvement. Our Creative Arts team require a technician to join and support them in preparing and resourcing their engaging and challenging lessons.
We are seeking to appoint a motivated, hard-working technician who has good organisational and admin skills and is enthusiastic about all areas of the Creative Arts curriculum (art and design, food, music and performing arts). You will also need to be effective at working with and alongside young people to ensure they make progress and fulfil their potential.
Essential qualities for all applicants include amongst other things:
• The ability to effectively communicate with children/young people, school staff and outside agencies.
• Good time management to effectively work across the different subject areas.
• Good organisational skills to ensure resources and equipment are readily available.
• The ability to ensure classrooms, workshops and studios are engaging places for pupils to learn in.
• A willingness to maintain key pieces of equipment to fulfil health and safety standards (training can be provided if necessary).
