We are looking to recruit an energetic and creative Technician for Fashion, Textile & Graphic Communication.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about learning and be able to demonstrate a clear focus on enhancing student experience within an exciting, vibrant and highly creative department. You will be able to support students individually, carry out skills demonstrations as required and work alongside teaching staff to ensure all learners make outstanding progress across the diverse range of study programmes we deliver.

You will have strong technical ability and knowledge of printed textile techniques, garment manufacture and digital image making /manipulation using Adobe CS6 as well as a thorough awareness of Health andSafety in a working studio environment. Responsibilities will include organising, preparing and managing materials and resources within budget, which will require you to work on your own initiative whilst retaining a strong team ethic. The position will be based at our main site, but you may also be required to be involved in external trips and events.
