Job overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Technician with Science knowledge.

Archbishop Tenison’s School recently became part of the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education Multi-Academy Trust.

Our recent school improvement journey has included refurbishment of key social and communal spaces, a complete review of our curriculum to ensure knowledge is planned and carefully sequenced and consistent systems for effective teaching and behaviour management.

As a small Church of England school, we have also developed a distinctive Christian vision which is ambitious for every child; we want our students to grow so that they might let their light shine before others (Matthew 5:16) in all that they do.

This is an exciting time for our school working with a growing Church of England trust where each of us share a common vision; to ensure all children in our school realise their God-given potential and aspire to exceed expectations.

We can offer you;

• Hardworking, caring, dedicated and friendly staff and active parents

• A nurturing working environment with a focus on wellbeing

• Strong partnerships with our family of Academies

• Excellent professional development and career opportunities

• An attractive salary and benefits package including funded CPD opportunities

Applicants are expected to be sympathetic to the Christian ethos of the school.

Archbishop Tenison’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.

CVs are not accepted; an Application Form must be completed.

Closing date:     13th December 2021

Interviews:         15th December 2021

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive suitable applications. If you are interested in working with us, please apply without delay.
