Salary: £24,320 p.a. pro rata (£24,575 p.a pro rata from April 2025). Full-time (37 hours per week). Term time plus 2 weeks. Permanent. Based at Welsh Bridge campus.

To provide laboratory support for teaching staff involved with the Physics, Electronics & Geology A level courses. Involves taking responsibility for preparation and provision of apparatus, equipment, materials and instruction sheets for practical work. Assisting staff and students where appropriate during practical sessions. Maintenance of the laboratories, prep rooms, stock rooms, keeping up to date with regulations and trialling of new practical sessions when appropriate. This is a busy department, and you should be a person prepared to work flexibly and liaise regularly with the teaching team as part of this role.
