This is your opportunity to use your trades / technology experience and specialist knowledge to grow pathways for senior students and build on the relationships with local industry, including preparing students for apprenticeship opportunities.

Rangiora High School, a large, semi-rural secondary school in North Canterbury is in search of a technology / trades specialist teacher to take on a pivotal role in their technology department.

The school has recently completed a $15.5 million dollar building project and created flexible learning hubs, to empower students to take greater control over their learning outcomes. This modern space is set to play an integral role in the ongoing redesign of the junior school curriculum to a more flexible and connected model. You will be involved in developing cross curricular programmes with staff in other subject areas and your ability to think outside the square will see you thrive.

Rangiora township is located in mid Canterbury, only a 30 minute drive into central Christchurch. You’ll enjoy the semi-rural lifestyle of the Canterbury plains, with all the benefits of a vibrant city on your doorstep!
