Technology Teacher

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and energetic teacher who can motivate and inspire pupils across both Key Stage 3 and 4, to join our forward-thinking Technology Department. 

The ability to teach a wide range of technology subjects would be advantageous, to include Visual Communications (Graphics), Textiles and Food. The ideal candidate would also be able to teach Health and Social Care and students with SEND.  

You will have a good track record of excellent classroom practice, be committed to high standards of learning and student progress, with the energy and vision to build on current progress and have ambitions for yourself and our school. 

This is a temporary contract to start 1st January 2018 until the end of the school year in the first instance, with an FTE of approximately 0.8 and possibly across 5 days.  

Within Technology we have two Heads of Department who work together to lead the Technology Faculty across the school. The new AQA Technical awards in Materials Technology and in Visual Communication are taught at Penryn College.
