Colchester Academy is a thriving secondary school, looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and driven Teacher of Technology to join its dedicated team. This role will cover Food Technology, Hospitality and Catering, Graphics, Resistant Materials with potential for teaching Art and Design.  The successful candidate will  help continue to raise standards across the school and to drive the Technology faculty further on its already successful journey.

Colchester Academy is a secondary school located in the heart of Colchester, Essex, and is graded ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED (2018). The Academy was opened in 2010 which makes for superb facilities for staff and students.  The Faculty has two well-appointed food rooms and a well-equipped workshop with access to a range of specialist machinery including a 3D printer and laser cutter.   The Academy supports all its courses with industry standard software and efficient IT support.  The Faculty also benefits from full time technician support.   We are looking for someone with enthusiasm to work within a vibrant team, to drive development and shape the learning for students.
