Colchester Academy is looking to appoint an Art and Technology Technician to support the Technology Department by preparing equipment and assisting in lessons.

The Art and Technology faculty at Colchester Academy is an exciting and creative place to work, offering Art, Photography, Food Technology, Graphics and a range of practical technical subjects across KS3 and KS4.

This position would suit anyone wanting to gain experience in a school environment, perhaps wanting to pursue a career in teaching in the future. Equally, an applicant for this role may have previously worked in education or in a career centring around Art or Technology. 

Colchester Academy is a secondary school located in the heart of Colchester, Essex, and recently graded ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED (2018). This is an incredibly exciting time in our journey, as we are in the process of joining a local Academy Chain, South Suffolk Learning Trust (SSLT).
