Technology Technician

Thank you for your interest in our role. We are looking for an adaptable, personable technician for our Design Technology Department.  School Design Technology has evolved significantly over the last five years. 

Aswell as being generally skilled at the traditional woodwork and metal work, you will need to be proficient with IT and be able to work with our Laser cutter and 3D printing equipment. 

You must enjoying working with children and young people, as most of the role involves preparing equipment for lessons and supporting the teachers in teaching the subject. 

You must also be well organised and have good attention to detail, as you will be responsible for the day to day servicing of the machines and for maintaining the health and safety of the workshop spaces.
