Bromley High School, a highly successful independent day school for girls, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Coach/Teacher of PE (ideally with hockey experience) on a one-year temporary basis.
In this rewarding role you will teach Physical Education at GCSE and A-Level (AQA Board). Some teaching of examination classes may be available to a suitably qualified candidate.
The department prides itself on the extensive extra-curricular programme on offer and you will be expected to lead some of the regular sports activities and team practices held after school and at lunchtimes and to assist with fixtures or tournaments after school and occasionally on Saturdays.
Facilities for sport at Bromley High School are superb. The school is set on a 25-acre site and outdoor facilities consist of one full size AstroTurf, six netball/eight tennis floodlit courts, plus a 400m grass running track. Indoor facilities consist of an impressive 25 metre, six-lane swimming pool, a traditional gymnasium and a large and well equipped sports hall.
