Job overview

We are looking for an Exams Assistant to support the Exams Manager during the busy summer exam period. This is a pivotal time of year for students and staff alike when students are sitting their final exams, so we need an exceptionally well-organised and calm individual to assist the Manager. You will need very strong administrative skills and attention to detail. You will need to have the stamina to be able to stand and walk for long periods at a time and carry scripts from room to room.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and plenty of enthusiasm who is able to work under pressure calmly and use their own initiative. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

The salary will be at Point 10 of the sixth form college support staff salary spine, currently £25,276 plus £3,082 Outer London Weighting. The approximate gross salary for the ten-week period will be £5,450. This will include payment for bank holidays (during college closures) and four days of annual leave to be taken during the May half term.
