TEMPORARY ICT TEACHER


We’re looking to recruit a temporary ICT Teacher (March 2024 to June 2024) to join the British School of Nanjing, a Nord Anglia Education school.


THE ROLE

Join our dynamic international environment where you will be responsible for delivering the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, and A-Level courses. Your role will involve teaching ICT to students from Year 6 to Year 13, totaling 24 teaching hours per week. You will challenge students to set ambitious targets for themselves, utilizing innovative teaching practices to enhance their learning experiences and outcomes. Proficiency in teaching ICT in English is essential, while familiarity with the British Curriculum is desirable.

You will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will possess a university degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and teaching experience. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the school’s level of achievement.

 

Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students.

Location and Facilities

In January 2016 we moved to our new and modern Mountain View campus which is located south of Nanjing city. It is a 30-minute drive from the centre (Xinjiekou) and sits nestled on a quiet residential street at the foot of Cuiping Mountain at the boundary of the Jiangjun National Park.

Views from the campus overlook the new outdoor sports and play areas and the forested mountains beyond. The school is in close proximity to prominent expatriate residential areas.
