This is a great time to join our school as we consolidate links with the three feeder primary schools which form part of our Multi-Academy Trust (The Minerva Learning Trust). We work closely with colleagues across the MLT, sharing ideas about assessment, literacy, numeracy and other areas of pedagogy. We are an outwardly facing school in a beautiful part of the country on the Jurassic Coast, and have strong links with our local community as a Rights Respecting Gold School.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The Minerva Learning Trust will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination a person who will not be on the appointment panel will conduct the search and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
The Minerva Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and all successful applicants will be vetted through a DBS check.
