The Headmaster is seeking to appoint a well qualified and experienced English teacher to join our hugely successful department. This is a fixed term contract on a part-time or full-time basis for the summer term with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The School usually expects all staff to contribute to its extra-curricular and pastoral programmes and there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to be involved in these ways if they wish. However, it is also recognised that candidates for temporary posts such as this may be unable to offer a full commitment in this regard. Thus, we are very happy to consider candidates who offer only the teaching element of a 'typical' Abingdon teacher's role (as detailed in the job pack).
