Parrenthorn High School is a popular and over-subscribed 11-16 co-educational secondary school which prides itself on providing an outstanding education for children of all abilities. The school is located in a pleasant semi-rural area with easy access to the M60, M62 and M66 motorways, Bury and Manchester.

Candidates should be able to deliver food and nutrition confidently to KS3 and the ability to teach GCSE food preparation and nutrition at KS4.

The department is friendly, enthusiastic and has a committed team of five specialist teaching staff including two technicians used for support.

The post is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to teach and work within a team of highly motivated and inspiring staff. The vacancy is suitable for ECTs or someone looking to broaden their teaching experience, working in a school where all Technology subjects are popular and valued by students and staff alike.
