Required from 1st November 2017, or as soon as possible thereafter, for one year in the first instance.
The type of teacher we want to appoint:
• has a degree in a psychology-related specialism
• is passionate about psychology, health & social care and student learning
• is able to teach the full range of ability including all modules from Year 9 to 13
• is a good team player committed to raising achievement
There may be an opportunity to take on additional Learning Mentor duties, (approx. 18.5 hours per week, paid at Grade D, points 19-23), to supervise classes/groups of students in the absence of teachers and support the learning of students in class by explaining, reading, clarifying work and encouraging successful completion of tasks.
