Temporary Teacher of Religious Education
Required for 27th February 2017
The governors of this over-subscribed Catholic high school wish to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and committed temporary teacher of Religious Education to work within the existing team to offer consistently outstanding provision. This is a temporary position to cover a period of maternity leave that will end once the intentions of the post holder are known. (The postholder has initially indicated a return of January 2018) .
The R.E. department at St Mary’s is dynamic and academically successful whilst simultaneously working closely with chaplaincy to ensure it makes a significant contribution to the spiritual life of the pupils at school. We offer a good range of courses at both GCSE and A Level and the ability to teach at this level would be a distinct advantage. St Mary’s is an exciting place to work and learn and is focused on the pursuit of excellence for every member of the school community.
