Oulder Hill Community School and Language College is a very successful school and the largest in Rochdale. The school serves a large area in the west of the borough. A multi-million pound PFI refurbishment has provided state-of-the-art facilities for students, staff and the community. All at the school are committed to achieving the highest academic and social standards for students and to the well-being and continuous professional development of all staff. It is an exciting time to join our journey as we seek to make further improvements to our provision for the benefit of our young people and the community we serve. The school achieved an A8 score of 46.7 compared to 46.5 predicted nationally in 2018 giving a P8 score of 0.05. We have made great strides forward this year in English and Maths and our EBACC progress remains strong with a progress score of 0.19. Our key groups of disadvantaged students and SEND K students are also making increasingly good progress. This is something we are very proud of.
