Temporary Technical Trainer – Fitness Suite Manager

37 Hours X 40 Weeks

The Sheffield College is seeking an individual with industry experience in the Health and Fitness sector to join the Sport delivery team of the Sport, Protective Services and Land-based faculty.

This post will be a one year, forty week contract, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the FE sector. The post-holder would be based primarily in the fitness suite at the Hillsborough campus for which they would have the responsibility of maintaining and developing. The Sheffield College is at an exciting stage with a thriving student population, we are committed to continual improvement and strive for excellence in meeting the needs of our students, staff and partners.

The successful candidate will deliver practical skills training and offer technical support to facilitate learning across the sport and public service departments’ curriculum from entry level to higher education and where appropriate make a positive contribution to the development of the curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a personal training qualification at level 3. They would have industry experience and a desire to share this expertise with our learners.
