WELCOME TO MALVERN COLLEGE HONG KONG
Located adjacent to the Hong Kong Science Park, Malvern College Hong Kong strives to be a leading International School in HK which inherits the fine ethos from Malvern College, UK. It will open its doors in September 2018 and ultimately provide 960 places for both primary and secondary students. We will seek International Baccalaureate authorization to deliver a full IB curriculum, targeting students from a range of cultural and educational backgrounds.
Malvern College Hong Kong will be located in close proximity to the Hong Kong Science Park, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Adjacent to the scenic Tolo Harbour, our seven storey state-of-the-art campus is designed specifically with Malvern College's culture, ethos and philosophy in mind. Our 25,000 square-metre campus will house the primary and secondary school including academic, athletic and recreational spaces incorporating the latest innovation and technology in teaching, learning and environmental sustainability.
The College's low-carbon footprint campus is designed according to environmental design principles that enhance natural ventilation, light penetration, and shading. The landscaping across floors were also consciously designed to match the adjoining green environment.
Blended Learning Environment
Blended learning is the combination of face-to-face instruction with online learning, recognized as the most effective method of achieving a rewarding personalized learning. Malvern College Hong Kong champions blended learning with well-equipped learning spaces, makerspaces, and other modern purpose-built facilities, and the use of effective learning technologies.
Learning Facilities & Technology
All classrooms in Malvern College Hong Kong are equipped with interactive projectors, audio systems, and acoustic ceilings. Laboratories feature industrial-grade furniture and equipment to maximise safety, with 4-side fume cupboards for better demonstration. The main reception lobby of the campus serves as a science centre and exhibition area for student work; while the multi-level, open-plan library serves as a learning resource centre and workspace.
Sports Facilities
As sports is an important and integral part of our curriculum, all our students will participate in a selection of sports including rugby, cricket, netball, basketball, rounders, athletics and gymnastics. While many of our sports will be taught on campus some will require off campus access to specialist facilities. Other planned sports will also include sailing, kayaking, cycling. Some of these sports will be offered as co-curricular activities after school.
On campus, Malvern College Hong Kong will have a football pitch on the roof where our students will also be able to spend their recess times.
Inside on the ground floor we will have a 25m swimming pool offering all year round swimming to all students. Also an indoor sports hall will offer basketball, volleyball, badminton, as well as being used as an assembly hall for school events. In its multi purpose design makes it a versatile space for the whole Malvern College Hong Kong community.

A 450-seat auditorium with concert hall-quality acoustics, geared towards musical and orchestral performances is also available at Malvern College Hong Kong. A Black Box Theatre, equipped with movable seating, designed for multimedia performances from drama to live music and music rooms for a variety of practice can also be found within the campus.
