Contract Type: Maternity cover, Normal working hours will be 08:30 hrs – 16.00 hrs, Monday to Friday, during School term time only.
This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic technician with a keen interest in Fashion and Textiles to contribute to the work of a very successful, well-resourced Textiles department.
The successful candidate will support the Textiles department including Computer Graphics to facilitate excellent teaching and learning and provide support for the teaching of Textiles Technology by preparing and setting up equipment and materials for practical classes. They will have experience in the use of a range of sewing machines and equipment with good ICT skills.

The Abbey School is a dynamic and vibrant community of more than 1,000 girls aged 3-18.
The Abbey is always in the top division nationally in academic terms. This year's A-levels were excellent with 75% at A*- B and at GCSE 88% gained 9-7 grades. Annually the average International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma result is between 38 - 40 points, with more than two thirds of the cohort scoring 38 points or higher, at a level equivalent to or exceeding the Oxford and Cambridge conditional offer range.
