Are you looking for a fun, challenging, varied role working with students, staff and employers in St Albans?


The Edge work experience programme has been designed to give the Colleges students a range of opportunities focused around work experience which will, enhance the students learning and increase their employability.


We are looking for someone to come on board and work with our students, employers and curriculum staff to create, maintain and manage a flexible work experience programme. This will include the introduction of the new Government T-Levels (technical qualifications) whereby students are expected to undertake 50 days work placement within an academic year.  The role will involve planning events and talks and liaising with employers to offer students real work experience opportunities. It will also involve monitoring and evaluating of all students who have participated in the work experience programme. The successful candidate will also be responsible for undertaking health and safety visits in line with requirements for the programme.


This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to really excel whilst enjoying a varied role. In return we can offer a friendly working environment and team and higher than average holiday time .This role would be ideal for someone who has experience working with young people and a background in co-ordinating, managing and organising projects, programmes and events.
