We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Therapy and Care Lead. This role is pivotal in ensuring the provision of specialised and targeted sensory, medical, and/or physical support for our learners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing, planning, and overseeing specialist support provision for learners, ensuring their physical, medical, and personal needs are met.
  • Liaising between specialist professionals and college staff to accurately implement individual therapy plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with various paperwork requirements such as EHCPs, care plans, and sensory reports.
  • Upholding learner dignity, safety, and independence through diligent and compassionate leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience working with individuals with complex, profound, physical, and/or medical needs, proven leadership experience with the ability to build relationships and provide constructive feedback, and exceptional communication skills.

Applicants will be primarily based at one campus but must be willing to work at any of our college campuses as needed.
