Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our team and teach our TLF students delivering engaging, high-quality instruction in MYP/DP Mathematics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, and contributing to the overall academic success of our school.

General responsibilities:
Teach engaging lessons aligned with the MYP/DP Mathematics curriculum, focusing on the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the varied learning styles, strengths, and abilities of all students, ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.
Curriculum Planning: Design and implement detailed lesson plans that cater to the MYP/DP Mathematics framework, fostering a solid understanding of key mathematical concepts.
Assessment & Evaluation: Develop, administer, and assess a variety of tasks and tests to monitor student progress, providing timely, constructive feedback to both students and parents.
Student Support: Offer additional support through extra lessons, one-on-one tutoring, and mentoring for students needing further assistance.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Mathematics Department and other subject teachers to create interdisciplinary units and projects that enhance student learning.
Extracurricular Involvement: Lead and support extracurricular activities such as math clubs and other events related to mathematics.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional learning to stay updated with the latest in math education, IB methodologies, and the integration of technology.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, teaching credential) is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level, with familiarity in adapting lessons for diverse learning needs.
Proven experience in teaching MYP Mathematics would be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of the IB MYP curriculum and assessment strategies.
Ability to inspire and engage students, promoting a love of mathematics and fostering a positive learning environment.
Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using digital tools and technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Fluent English Language (C2).
Passionate about mathematics and dedicated to helping students achieve academic excellence.

Recruitment process:
Hiring team Panel interview (30 minutes).
Trial lesson (60 minutes).
Interview with the Head of School, Principal of Secondary and Faculty Leader. (30 minutes).

Our Campus
Currently we are operating in a temporary campus, opened in September 2022 which includes 3 areas: Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary School as well as outdoor sport courts, playgrounds, canteen, 2 art studios, 2 music rooms and 2 libraries.
Future Campus
Drawing inspiration from renowned educational projects worldwide and working in collaboration with one of the leading architectural bureaus, we are about to shape the future of our school. Among other features, the permanent campus will include 5 laboratories, 2 art studios, swimming pool, sports base for both indoor and outdoor activities and much more.
