King’s High School and Warwick School (two leading independent schools both graded Excellent in their recent ISI inspections) are seeking to recruit good graduates, including those looking to change career, to train as secondary school Physics teachers.
This year long, entirely school based training, leading to the award of QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a PGCE, will take place on the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation Campus with placements available at both local state and independent schools. Both schools have a long and successful record of inspiring students to study Physics, facilitating the achievement of high academic results and filling students with a love of science. The scheme will be led by subject experts at the two schools.
King’s High School and Warwick School are collaboratively leading the Warwick Regional Hub of the National Mathematics and Physics School Centred Initial Teacher Training Scheme (NMAPS).
